We were honored to be a Pearl Sponsor for the JDRF’s Promise Gala that took place this past Saturday, April 14th. The JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The JDRF’s mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. They work to fund research, advocate for government support of research, ensure new therapies come to the market, and connect and engage the T1D community. Originally founded by parents determined to find a cure for their children’s T1D, the JDRF has expanded to fund more than $2 billion in research and make significant progress in fighting the disease.
The Promise Gala, put on by the Indiana State Chapter, was an evening of giving, fellowship, and unity– featuring an expansive silent auction, a sit-down dinner, their signature Fund A Cure program, and late-night dancing–all to help raise money for T1D research. We were excited to not only sponsor the event, but help with the setup, donate to the silent auction, and attend as well, as several of our owners and employees were guests at the event. The event was a big success– raising a total of $1.26 million!
